How Did I Come Up With This Idea?

I had just graduated and moved to Boston. I was living with my HWS college roommates in our first apartment and working my dream job in real estate with The Bozzuto Group.

I quickly began navigating big girl decisions- like what credit card to apply for and which car to buy. As independent as I wanted to be, I still desperately needed help with one major matter only my mother could help solve- my messy bedroom.

I spent hours (and $$$$) shopping for matching bedroom decor, hanging pretty pictures and assembling furniture- all to achieve a happy, peaceful environment to call home.

I absolutely LOVED my room... when it was clean.

But who has time to clean?

I was ALWAYS on the go. I had deals to close, people to meet and places to explore! And I was ALWAYS stressed- rushing out the door, leaving my makeup, hair appliances, electronics and their wires scattered all over my room.

I wanted to enjoy my room EVERY day,

not just on the rare days I had time to "clean up" or put things away.

And I didn't want to run around like a crazy person any more. I wanted to leave my home feeling prepared and empowered to take on whatever the day had in store for me. I needed a morning routine that was seamless, efficient, and enjoyable!

My mom and I set out to find a solution. We found plenty of plastic organizational trinkets, storage containers, and traditional pieces of furniture- but there was nothing on the market that solved my problems in one all inclusive way.

Determined to not let our frustration defeat us, my mom suggested that I dream up what my ideal solution would look like. I began piecing together what would be my first, of many, prototypes.

I invented the VANGO out of pure necessity. One place where I could easily access everything I needed within an arm's reach. A place that was ergonomically designed with my technology in mind. Something that got my appliances up off the ground and allowed me to use, charge, and store them all simultaneously without the chaos of the cords. And most importantly, a place where I could hide my mess behind closed doors and return at the end of the day with everything right where I left it.

Now that the VANGO exists, I can't imagine living without it!
